Private Chef · Darien, Connecticut · Meals arrive chilled;
reheat gently, just before serving
Preferred Reheating: Oven
Gentlest & most even — keeps food moist. Microwave times given for
speed.
Before You Begin
Sauces & gravies travel separately: warm gently and spoon
over just before serving; never overheat.
Salads, dressings & fresh fruit stay cold: cole slaw,
potato & pasta salad, chicken salad, ranch, Caesar and Dijon are
served chilled — do not heat.
Bread, wraps & buns are packed untoasted: warm or toast
fresh, and fill just before serving.
Keep it moist: add a splash of water or stock and cover when
microwaving; warm proteins gently and briefly.
Food safety: heat proteins until steaming hot throughout
(165°F); enjoy within the use-by date on each container.
